cout® vehicles are the original off-road icon. They were bred for exploration and getting outside. Rugged and built to last from the dirt up, the Scout brand has always been a way of life. Embedded in our heritage is a passion for exploration, for connecting people to experiences, and for taking them to the places that matter most.
In staying true to this adventurous spirit, Scout Motors was proud to partner with Outside Festival and Summit in a celebration of everything outdoors. Nestled in the heart of mile-high Denver, Colorado, the weekend fest brought together like-minded, nature-oriented folks from far and wide.
It was the perfect opportunity for the public to discover—or rediscover—Scout Motors.
Live music echoed through the trees, films played featuring wild places, and voices from the trails shared their wisdom. Festivalgoers had immersive outdoor experiences and left with a few stories of their own.
Among all the action was our Scout Motors Basecamp. The location became a destination within the festival. “Tailgate Sessions” featured live performances set around a campfire in our green space. The stage was backed by the iconic Vintage Scout Race Program Race Terra, fresh off winning its class in the NORRA® Mexican 1000®. Folks gathered to enjoy the tunes and see the legendary race truck up close.
“Field School” gave attendees hands-on, outdoor-focused activities rooted in exploration and adventure. Our field team led skill-based workshops for the trail and beyond. From knot tying to building a survival kit, it was the perfect place to discover the scout in all of us.
The centerpiece of the Scout display was our two concept vehicles: the Scout Traveler™ SUV and the Scout Terra™ truck. Our booth shone in the midday sun and glowed at night. It drew attention from everyone who passed by, sparking curiosity and conversation. It was the perfect opportunity for the public to discover—or rediscover—Scout Motors. Reservation holders were invited to see the vehicles, many in person for the first time. Excitement stirred, stories were shared, and the trucks were the stars of it all.
A huge thank you to the Denver community for having us along for the ride. Outside’s mission has always been to encourage more people to get outdoors, discover, learn, and fully engage with all that nature provides. At Scout Motors, we couldn’t align more with those guiding principles. We’re here to connect people with the natural world through discovery and storytelling. Our trucks just happen to be the perfect way to get there.
