here do you start when reviving the Scout® legacy in the modern era? You start from the ground up, of course. The literal ground. You start with the land. With people. With intent. That idea is at the heart of Brick by Brick, Scout Motors’ original documentary series chronicling the creation of our Blythewood, South Carolina production facility—and the community forming around it.

Most people know the headline by now: Scout Motors is building a new production facility in the southeast—an all-new American manufacturing center that will shape the future of the Scout® brand. Brick by Brick is where the story goes deeper, beyond the construction. It’s a story about return, opportunity, and long-term commitment.

Debuting as Scout Motors’ first original series and available to stream on YouTube, it offers an authentic, behind-the-scenes look at what it truly takes to build a modern automotive company from the ground up. It’s an ongoing narrative that documents the real work, real people, and real decisions behind one of the largest construction projects in the Southeast.

More Than a Factory

Brick by Brick makes one thing clear early on: this project is about more than steel, concrete, and machinery. It’s about building a modern American manufacturing ecosystem and along the way creating meaningful careers, inspiring pride in craft, and anchoring a new chapter of automotive history in the region.

The series follows the journey as it unfolds—breaking ground, moving earth, coordinating teams, and solving challenges that don’t make press releases. It captures the scale of the undertaking while slowing down enough to show the human side: the builders, planners, leaders, and community members whose lives are intertwined with the project. It’s the kind of access most people never get.

Viewers see how global experience, local pride, and shared purpose come together to form something lasting. These are stories worth sharing. Anyone can follow along, episode by episode, as the facility takes shape and the vision becomes reality.

Rather than waiting for a finished product, this series invites viewers into the middle of the journey as the dust is still settling and the foundation is still being poured. It’s a rare, transparent look at how ideas become infrastructure, and how values are translated into our future factory.

Episode 1: FROM THE DIRT UP

The series begins where all meaningful builds must: with the land itself. Episode One documents the breaking of ground on a roughly $2 billion, more-than-3-million-square-foot production center in Blythewood. As earth is moved and plans begin to take physical shape, viewers are introduced to the scale of the undertaking and to a project about far more than soil and steel.

Episode 2: THE LONG ROAD BACK

The second chapter shifts focus to people. It follows the journey of MJ—a South Carolinian whose career took him around the world, only to lead him back home at a pivotal moment. Through his story, the series explores how global experience and local commitment intersect—and how Scout Motors is working to create meaningful careers and inspire the next generation of American manufacturing.

Episode 3: Built With Trust

Episode Three centers on collaboration. Early questions give way to conversations, and conversations become trust. This chapter shows how Scout Motors and the Blythewood community began shaping a shared future together—highlighting that progress starts with relationships and commitment.

Episode 4: American Manufacturing, Reborn

The final chapter brings the story full circle. Episode Four connects the early spark of an idea to the rapid rise of a cutting-edge production center, weaving together voices from across the organization. Past and future converge as Scout Motors’ legacy meets modern leadership. This isn’t a comeback, it’s a long-term promise.
